Awards, Industry Recognition and Professional Standards

KingsRock Construction Ltd is an award-winning, professionally managed main contractor based in Hastings, East Sussex, delivering residential, commercial and public-sector construction projects across Sussex, Kent, Surrey, London and the wider South East.

Since our establishment in 2021, KingsRock and members of our team have received repeated recognition for construction quality, workplace culture, leadership, apprenticeships and our contribution to the regional construction industry.

For clients, architects, developers and consultants, this recognition supports the principle at the heart of our business: Building Confidence.

South East Construction Award Finalists

KingsRock has been recognised consistently by the South East Construction Awards, with finalist appearances in 2023, 2024 and 2025.

These awards celebrate outstanding construction businesses, projects, apprentices and industry professionals from across South East England. Our repeated inclusion reflects the contribution of the whole KingsRock team, from site delivery and commercial management to operations, training and workforce development.

KingsRock team members also received Apprentice of the Year finalist recognition in 2023 and 2025, demonstrating our commitment to creating meaningful routes into professional construction careers.

Women in Construction Award Winner

In 2026, KingsRock Operations Director Victoria Collins won the Best Woman in Construction Award at the South East Construction Expo & Awards.

The award recognised Victoria’s leadership, her contribution to KingsRock’s people-first culture and her work to promote wellbeing, professional development and opportunities for the next generation entering construction.

Victoria had previously reached the final four in the Women in Construction category in 2025. Her subsequent win represents an important achievement for both Victoria and KingsRock. Her work includes supporting apprentices, engaging with schools and colleges, encouraging greater representation in construction and helping to create an environment where people feel respected, supported and able to develop. The award is not simply recognition of one individual. It reflects the culture KingsRock is working to build across the business.

Federation of Master Builders Awards

As a member of the Federation of Master Builders, KingsRock has received recognition at both regional and national level.

At the 2025 Southern Counties Master Builder Awards, KingsRock was selected as a finalist in the Small Renovation Project and Medium Renovation Project categories.

These project categories recognise the quality, craftsmanship, project management and customer service demonstrated by FMB members when delivering renovation and refurbishment projects.

KingsRock was subsequently named as a national finalist in the 2025 FMB Workplace Culture Award. This recognition was particularly significant because it reflected the values that shape how we operate: respect, communication, safety, wellbeing, training and professional accountability.

Our culture is built around supporting the people responsible for delivering our projects. That includes employees, apprentices, subcontractors, consultants and supply-chain partners.

Featured in Construction and Regional Media

KingsRock’s projects, people and business development have been featured on several occasions in the Federation of Master Builders’ Master Builder magazine.

This coverage has included KingsRock’s workplace culture, leadership, industry involvement and awards recognition. Victoria Collins’ Women in Construction Award was also featured by the FMB following her 2026 win.

KingsRock has also received coverage in the Hastings Observer, helping to raise awareness of our work, our people and our contribution to construction and employment in East Sussex.

Independent industry and regional media coverage strengthens our visibility, but more importantly, it provides opportunities to share the standards, values and experience behind the KingsRock name.
